Inner Peace Journey Leadership Development Program

Developed by Nadja Muller and Frank Eggnik of Heartworks Sustainability Community, this course is being offered to Afghans engaged in women's rights advocacy. The program begins with a 12 week "Inner Peace Journey" meant to help leaders start their work from a place of inner peace, knowing, and alignment. Additional sections, based on input from the participants, will focus on developing skills such as communication, advocacy, and organization. You can learn more about this important program at Nadja's blog.

In addition to the very important work of training and supporting Afghan leaders, the Dari language materials created for this course will be provided to Afghan scholars in order to develop them into training and printed materials to be provided at the community level through our networks inside of Afghanistan. For more information regarding our model for curriculum development, please see our Model Development page.
